San Francisco ING Bay to Breakers 12K

Bay-area alumni participate in or watch San Francisco's famous race and fun walk. Runners and walkers should email Mindy Lechman '05 to let her know you're coming and visit Bay to Breakers site to register. Orange and blue balloons in the start-line corrals near Mission and Embarcadero will mark Macalester meeting points. Spectators should contact Andrew Kaufteil '01 to RSVP. Look for the Orange and Blue balloons between Lyon and Central on Fell Street. Pastries will be provided to spectators by Noe Valley Bakery, owned by alumna Mary Gassen '83. Costumes are a must for both spectators and participants. Wear orange and blue, your tartan, sporran, or anything with a Macalester theme. Race begins 8 a.m.

Chicago Premiere of Love Person by Aditi Kapil '94
1:30pm, Victory Gardens Biograph Theater, 2433 N Lincoln, Chicago
Join us for one of the preview performances of Love Person at Victory Gardens Biograph Theater in Chicago's Lincoln Park, plus a reception beforehand with the playwright and Macalester Alumna Aditi Brennan Kapil '94. The performance starts at 3 p.m. The reception is in the 2nd floor meeting room at 1:30 pm. We have reserved a block of tickets, please contact Adrian Moran '91 to RSVP and provide advanced payment. The discounted ticket rate of $30 includes refreshments at the reception.
