10:30am, Begins at the Macalester Softball Field
Join the M Club in cheering on Mac softball, baseball and tennis teams all in one day! Just before the softball doubleheader vs. Concordia at 11 a.m. M Club members hand out 'Proud parents of a future M Clubber' T-shirts to the parents of our team. The M Club will serve Scot Dogs between the softball games and baseball doubleheader vs. St. Olaf at 2:30 p.m. Then, check out the Women's Tennis team play Gustavus at 4 p.m. on the Tennis Courts. 3pm, Silverlake Wine, 2395 Glendale Blvd., Los Angeles
Join George Cossette '74, co-owner of the highly regarded Silverlake Wine and 2004 nominee for a James Beard Foundation's Outstanding Wine Service award, to taste three wines from emerging regions and hear his expert commentary on current wine trends. Bread, artisan cheeses and salami will be provided. Silverlake is offering attendees a 10 percent discount on purchases of the afternoon's tasting wines. Wine will be poured at 3:15 p.m. sharp. Due to space limitation, this event is limited to 36 participants. Registration is now closed.
