Welcome student volunteers to New Orleans
7pm, Lakeview Presbyterian Church, 5914 Canal Blvd., New Orleans
Join Reverend Neale Miller '72 for an evening of coffee, dessert and conversation with 24 Macalester students and four staff members who are volunteering in New Orleans through college's new Bonner Week of Service program during spring break. The group will work through the organization Relief Spark to provide disaster relief in concert with community-based organizations in the New Orleans area. Come welcome these students to Louisiana and learn more about their perspectives on the importance of community service. To RSVP, email Neale Miller '72.
