DESCRIPTION:Join Boston area Mac Alums for a morning of service. We will be helping the Mather School\, America&rsquo\;s &ldquo\;First and Finest&rdquo\; public elementary school\, organize its literacy room. A light lunch will be provided after the project is completed.With 374 years of history\, the Mather School serves 630+ Boston students in pre-kindergarten through fifth grade. The diverse student body is 97% minority with 60% of students speaking a language other than English at home. To meet some Mather kids\, see the video on the school&rsquo\;s website online here.  \nThis service event is an opportunity to spend time with Mac friends while doing something great for the community.&nbsp\; We will create a system to make books and curriculum materials easy for teachers to access while learning a bit about public schools in Boston\, receiving a tour from fifth grade student ambassadors\, and catching up with one another. \nIf you plan to attend\, RSVP online here. \nThe MathervSchool is an easy 10-minute walk from the Field&rsquo\;s Corner T stop on the red line and has ample parking.
