Black History Month Symposium: Black Education

The Black History Month Committee is hosting its first annual symposium on the theme of Black Education. This event highlights workshop and lecture sessions led by faculty and students and concluding with Professor David Stovall. Professor Stovall is the Associate Professor of Educational Policy Studies and African-American Studies at the University of Illinois at Chicago. He studies Critical Race Theory at the intersection of housing, community, and education and will be touching on these topics in his lecture.
