The Duty to Act: Science and Social Responsibility with Tyrone Hayes, a professor of integrative biology at the University of CA, Berkley.

While hired to research a herbicide used by the company Sygenta, Dr. Hayes discovered that it demasculinized and feminized male frogs. Although the company and other hired experts were resistant to his findings and would not fund it further, Dr. Hayes found ways to fund this research and publicize his findings. Through it all he has become a leading advocate for the regulation of pesticides that cause adverse health effects.

Come hear Dr. Hayes' story as he reflects on his unexpected calling to take on agribusiness.
