Join us for a Witness for Peace talk, "Women and the Construction of Peace in Colombia", featuring Carol Rojas.

In the Feminist Antimilitarist Network, Carol Rojas learned about working class feminism and discovered the need to collectively build forms of life that invite the transformation of the living conditions of those who have suffered war, hunger, dehumanization, lack of education, work and health.

Rojas will discuss what it's like to be a woman fighting for peace in Colombia. Rojas is an organizer with the Feminist Antimilitarist Network, a grassroots organization in Colombia, recognized for its education that supports demilitarization and eradication of systems of oppression based on sex, class and race.
