Olin-Rice Science Center 100

Regions Hospital Critical Care Research Department performs clinical trials for critical care teams in the Emergency Room, ICUs and Burn Center. They will be on campus today, Tuesday, March 21 from noon to 1pm in Olin-Rice 100 for an information session. They are recruiting for an internship program geared towards those interested in research, PA, and medical school. Seniors and recent grads are eligible.

Interns get extra training (EMS ride alongside with a physician, CPR, EKG, violence prevention, cadaver labs, intubation and IO training, and other learning opportunities). Most shifts are spent in the ED enrolling patients and screening our electronic medical record for potential patients.

On average interns work 6-8 shifts a month that you pick to work around your school schedule. There are usually 10 interns in the group.

Lunch will be served. Register to attend on MC2
