Late Night Vinyl -- The Perfect Study Break

10:30 PM  - 11:30 PM
Wednesday May 7, 2014
Crawford Hall, Music 116, Music Building

Nurture your inner rebellion against exams/papers/all authority with Late Night Vinyl! Hosted by Director of Instrumental Music, Mark Mandarano, the last LNV of the year will once again feature a classic album played all the way through on a spectacular surround-sound system in the new music building.

The British Invasion was a fait accompli by the time Who's Next by The Who hit stores in 1971. The album is widely acknowledged as a pinnacle of rock music with classics "Baba O'Riley" (a tribute in part to Terry O'Riley, the composer of "In C"), "Getting In Tune," "Behind Blue Eyes," and, of course, "We Don't Get Fooled Again." This album is the source of the expressions "teenage wasteland" and "meet the new boss..."
