- 4:30 PM
Saturday Apr 5, 2014
Copper Mountain, 509 Copper Rd, Copper Mtn, Co
Alumni, family and friends are invited to the 2nd Annual Ski Day at Copper Mountain. The snow is far better this year, and we look forward to seeing you. Karl Anuta '57 will take a group out for one or two long runs in the morning before everyone meets for lunch at Union Creek Cafeteria. Following lunch Karl will lead a tour of the slopes decided on by the group. The day will end with everyone sharing stories at Karl's "ski-to-the-door" condo. Drop in as your schedule permits or stay for the entire day.
Cross country enthusiasts may also find acceptable snow on tracked trails west of Copper, which will be open if snow is adequate. Alternatively there is plenty of room on the 18 hole Copper Golf Course.

Attendees are responsible for the cost of each activity they attend. So that we may prepare appropriately, if you plan to attend any portion of the day please register online here.
Find directions to Copper Mountain online here. If you will be joining the group for a morning ski, contact Karl (Karl.Anuta@Comcast.Net) for more specific directions to his condo.
If you do not have a pass or "4 pac" to Copper, lift tickets can be purchased online here or at several ski shops and super markets on the Front Range.
Alumni interested in carpooling (riders and drivers) should email Erik Jackson '05 (firstname.lastname@example.org) with an indication as to their location (Denver, Aurora, Boulder, Ft. Collins, etc.). He will pass their email address to a driver or rider from that area so each person can make their own arrangements.
The greater Denver area group is planning to meet at the Wooly Mammoth parking lot at the Morrison Exit (#250) of I-70
