Mohammed Abou Zaid is Chief Judge in Saida, Lebanon and Professor at Jinan University. After attending the National Prayer Breakfast in Washington D.C., Judge Abou Zaid will visit Macalester to speak about the role of Islamic law in Lebanon and share his stories and experiences as a judge (qadi) in a religiously and legally diverse society.

A light lunch will be served.
