Benjamin Goldfrank is Associate Professor and Chair of the School of Diplomacy and International Relations at Seton Hall University.  Goldfrank (BA Harvard, PhD Berkeley) is the author of Deepening Local Democracy in Latin America: Participation, Decentralization and the Left and co-editor of The Left in the City: Participatory Local Governments in Latin America. Recent work appears in Nueva Sociedad, International Journal of Urban and Regional Research, Comparative Politics, and Politics, Religion, and Ideology.
