Student Town Hall: Future of the Academic Calendar

6:00 PM  - 7:00 PM
Tuesday Nov 5, 2013
Weyerhaeuser Board Room, Weyerhaeuser Hall

Still stressed from midterms?
Fall break wasn't long enough for you?
Worried about cramming your finals' studying all into one study day?

We understand your frustration and this could potentially change in a near future. BUT we need to hear from you.

We (Merita Bushi and June Ban) are student representatives on the Educational Policy and Governance (EPAG) committee, which is made up of faculty and staff. EPAG will ultimately decide whether or not Macalester will go forward with the change to our academic calendar. Jayne Niemi (Registrar) will be there to listen to what you have to say and answer any questions.

We've been trying to bring up this issue for the past years before most of us came to Macalester, and this is the furthest progress we've made so far. If this goes through, the change will likely be long-term--allowing a calendar to be available 5 to 10 years in the future.

If you have any other questions or concerns, please contact Merita Bushi(mbushi@macalester.edu) or June Ban (jban@macalester.edu).

This event is for: Alumni, Students, Staff, Faculty, Parents and Families and Public
