January Career Exploreship Information Session

4:45 PM  - 6:00 PM
Monday Oct 21, 2013
Commons Area, 1st Floor, Kagin Commons

In January, sophomores have the opportunity to learn more about a discipline, an organization, or a potential career path by participating in a Career Exploreship.

The Career Exploreship is a job shadow/mentoring program that sets you up to spend a couple of hours or perhaps even a full day with a Macalester alum. Opportunities are available in the Twin Cities, New York City, and Washington, D.C. If you are accepted, we will match you with an alum who most closely fits your interests and career goals.

There are no minimum requirements for the number of hours you must schedule, no faculty involvement, and no end-term project -- and no academic credit.

Opportunities in New York and Washington, D.C. are best suited for students who plan to be there anyway -- we offer no help with housing or transportation. Students in the Twin Cities may stay on campus for the time they are here in January.

To learn about the program and the application and selection process, attend one of two information sessions:

Monday, October 14, 4:45, Hall of Fame Room

Monday, October 21, 4:45, Kagin Commons
