Identity Collectives Social & Informational
- 6:00 PM
Thursday Sep 19, 2013
1st Floor, Kagin Commons
Join the Lealtad-Suzuki Center in the Department of Multicultural Life for the Identity Collectives Social & Informational.
Created in 2002, the LSC’s Identity Collectives provide students with the opportunity to build community and talk together both within their specific collectives and in inter-group dialogues between all of the collectives. The Identity Collectives provide spaces for identity exploration and support around the intersections of race, ethnicity, gender, sexuality, nationality, and socioeconomic status. Each collective group is facilitated by trained faculty, staff, and students.
This social and information session will give you the opportunity to hear about the perspectives and experiences of students who are current members of identity collectives, as well as the opportunity to select the collective(s) that you would like to join.
If you have any questions, contact Karla Benson Rutten at firstname.lastname@example.org. We hope to see you there!
