Lower Level, Kagin Commons

Join the Lealtad-Suzuki Center for "Soup & Substance." October's topic is "Beyond the Individual: Examining Structural Racism."

This month we will be preview an excerpt from the documentary Cracking the Codes: The System of Racial Inequity, and engage in facilitated dialogue about the implications of structural racism within our communities.  Cracking the Codes works to disentangle internal beliefs, attitudes and pre-judgments within, and it builds skills to address the interpersonal, institutional, and structural drivers of social and economic inequities.

"Soup & Substance" is a monthly lunch series sponsored by the DML that is designed to bring students, staff, and faculty together to engage in conversations about identity, culture, and community.
