Macalester Concert Choir Performance and Reception in Cambridge, MA

Following an exciting concert season in the Twin Cities, the Macalester Concert Choir will travel to the Boston area later this month to perform at Harvard University, Boston University, and local high schools. The concerts will feature a span of literature from the Renaissance to the modern era, including motets by Tallis, Fauré, and Rachmaninoff, folk melodies from the British Isles and the United States, as well as selections from two 20th-century masterworks: Herbert Howells's Requiem and Carl Orff's Carmina Burana.

Reception to follow (approximately at 9 p.m.) in the Pusey Room
