Nutrition on a Mission - Join the Revolution - Lunch and Learn
- 1:00 PM
Wednesday Apr 3, 2013
Weyerhaeuser Boardroom, Weyerhaeuser Hall
Children born in the year 2000 will be the first generation to have a shorter life expectancy than their parents. There are a variety of factors that have made this a reality from our "culture of convenience", family life, to the food industry.
However, there are numerous initiatives happening now to help stop this tragedy. Join us for a discussion, led by Chef Marshall O'Brien, on how this has come to be the state of our children's health today and what we can do to continue the positive momentum.
Food served beginning at 11:45 am. Please RSVP at https://www.macalester.edu/wham/ by April 1.
