Hewitt Hall, Room 113, Music Building
When was the last time you put a classic vinyl lp and listened to it all the way through? Well, here's your chance! Join Director of Instrumental Music, Mark Mandarano, Wednesday, March 27 at 10:30 PM for Late Night Vinyl.
Here's the deal: one classic lp will be played through without interruption at each session (except for that priceless moment when turn over for side two!). Using the State-of-the-art surround-sound stereo system in the new music building, he will preface the music by a brief talk about the history of the album, the music and a look at the cover art. Then the needle will go in the groove and...non-stop music. A perfect study break.
First up, the inimitable defining moment from 1967, Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band by The Beatles.
