Movie Night with the Interfaith House!
- 9:00 PM
Friday Mar 1, 2013
Basement, Weyerhaeuser Memorial Chapel
Come join the Interfaith House for a Movie Night this Saturday, March 1st! We will be watching East is East, a movie about an English fish-and-chip shop owner who expects his family to follow his strict Pakistani Muslim ways. His children, however, having been brought up in Britain, see themselves as British. When their next two sons find out that their father has secretly been arranging marriages for them, they rebel and set off repercussions that forces the family reconsider their family structure. This is a light-hearted and funny tale that touches on a lot of great themes.
We will be screening the movie Saturday night at 7 PM in the basement of the chapel and chatting afterwards. Please feel free to kick back and feel comfy by bringing blankets, pillows and snacks, though we will be providing some snacks as well. Please e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org if you are interested in attending or if you have any questions.
