Talking About Teaching

12:00 PM  - 1:00 PM
Friday Mar 1, 2013
Jan Serie Center for Scholarship and Teaching (Room 338), DeWitt Wallace Library

Open conversation: “Improving classroom discussions. What works, what doesn’t?”  How do you promote active and engaging discussions in your classroom?  What effective tools have you developed or “borrowed” from others that improve student’s preparation and contributions to a course conversation?  Sharing ideas of what you and other attendees have found useful will fuel this discussion.  All faculty are welcome.  Lunch will be provided.
