Bone Marrow Registry Drive
- 2:00 PM
Friday Feb 22, 2013
Alexander G. Hill Ballroom, Kagin Commons
The Bone Marrow Registry Drive will take place on campus Thursday, February 21, and Friday, February 22. We are partnering with Be the Match, which connects patients with a donor match for a bone marrow transplant. Thousands of patients with blood cancers like leukemia, lymphoma, sickle cell, and other life-threatening diseases need a bone marrow transplant. You could be the one to save a life.
Participating in the bone marrow registry drive is easy. It entails completing a registration form to join the registry and providing a cheek swab DNA sample. Learn more about joining the registry and bone marrow donation.
Dates for the Registry Drive:
Thursday, February 21, 4:30-8:30 p.m. (Markim Hall, Davis Court)
Friday, February 22, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. (Kagin Commons, Alexander G. Hill Ballroom)
Every four minutes, someone is diagnosed with a blood cancer – that's 360 people a day, 15 people every hour. Join the Be the Match Registry and you could be the cure a patient needs. Still have questions? Learn more here.
