Food, Sustainability, and Social Justice: A Conversation with Bates College

7:00 PM  - 8:30 PM
Wednesday Feb 6, 2013
Old Main 003

A facilitated conversation using social media between students and faculty at Bates College in Lewiston, Maine, and Macalester students, around the issue of food, sustainability, and social justice.   How have classes, student organizations, and grassroots initiatives in each community helped build a stronger and more just food system?  How can one build stronger campus-community connections?  What are potential ways that campuses can collaborate moving forward?
