Macalester band "Word on the Street" will be playing a show at 1st Ave 7th Street Entry on January 30th. They are opening for Minneapolis soul band "JT and the Sloppy Seconds." Tickets are 5 dollars online and at the door. Word on Street won the 2011 Battle of the Bands, performed at SpringFest 2011 and Welcome Week 2012. Come out and support Macalester music.
