The Institute for Global Citizenship invites you to our first annual Celebration of Macalester’s Global Citizens. The event will showcase global citizenship in action in our local, national, and international communities. Come hear inspiring talks by the 3 Global Citizenship Award recipients, and view student posters highlighting their contributions to the world through internships, civic engagement, study away, social entrepreneurship and more.

An award ceremony will honor the Global Citizenship Awardees, the Civic Engagement Center’s outstanding civically engaged leaders, and the IGC Student Council Live It! Fund winners. Join us to learn more about how our students have been involved on-campus, in the Twin Cities, and in the world at large as ambassadors of global citizenship.
