Sandwiches and Scholarship

11:30 AM  - 12:30 PM
Thursday Nov 15, 2012
Harmon Reading Room, DeWitt Wallace Library

Join us for Sandwiches and Scholarship from noon to 1 p.m., Thursday, November 15, Harmon Room of the DeWitt Wallace Library.

This month's speakers are Taryn Valley '14 (International Studies), Jonathan Gershberg '13 (Anthropology), and Lora Marie Hlavsa '13 (Geography).

The IGCSC hosts Sandwiches and Scholarship luncheons one Thursday each month to highlight student scholarship across campus. While many students are familiar with student work going on in their own classes or majors, there are few venues on campus for students to present their work they have done to the broader student body. Lunch will be provided

Each month three students are asked to give a 10-minute presentation on a class paper, project, artistic pursuit, etc. A series of questions are asked to all three presenters to draw connections among the academic processes and across disciplines.

If you're interested in presenting, please fill out the Google form below. All students are eligible.
