Students, spend the summer of 2013 carrying out a grassroots project for peace, with the help of a $10,000 grant from the Davis Projects for Peace. You design the project and make it happen with community partners locally or anywhere in the world.

Apply as an individual or a group. At least one grant will go to a Macalester student or group. Funding is provided by Kathryn Wasserman Davis to encourage creative ideas and entrepreneurial actions for building peace. 

Students are encouraged to set up a meeting with Karin Trail-Johnson to discuss their projects and to let her know that you will be submitting an application. Proposals are due at midnight on January 15, 2013. Details and application information are available on IGC website.
