- 1:30 PM
Monday Oct 8, 2012
Study Abroad Library, Markim Hall
Interested in studying abroad? Perhaps in Santiago, Chile?
Come discuss your options with the Santiago Center Director from IES Abroad on Monday, October 8th. There will be an open info session from noon to 1:30 p.m. in the Study Abroad Library on the 2nd floor of Markim Hall.
Founded by conquistadors in 1541, today Santiago is a modern metropolis, one that you will come to know for its lively neighborhoods and unique charm. A Spanish-immersion program, the IES Abroad Santiago Program will help you improve your language skills and promotes immersion through enrollment at local partner universities and homestay living. Also offered are internship and service learning placements, field trips, and extra-curricular activities through which you will have the opportunity to meet Chilean and international students alike.
