October 25 is the 10th anniversary of the plane crash that took the lives of U.S. Senator Paul Wellstone, his wife Sheila Wellstone, their daughter Marcia Wellstone Markuson and Wellstone campaign staffers Tom Lapic, Mary McEvoy and Will McLaughlin. Minnesota Governor Mark Dayton will deliver the keynote address. 

This fall, three remembrance events are planned to honor their lives and remember their legacy. The second event will be held on October 25 in Eveleth, MN at the site of the plane crash. A third event honoring the lives of the Wellstones will take place in November in Washington,
