Join Twin Cities Macalester alumni to discuss the rich and lengthy tome The Satanic Verses by Salman Rushdie. This novel famously inspired the then-Ayatollah to issue a fatwa against Rushdie. Join the group to discuss, among other things, just what is so powerful about this book. Carlye Novak '09 will be hosting the discussion.
