Geography Institute: Using Maps as Primary Documents in Social Science Inquiry Lessons

This institute is for 3rd– 12th grade teachers focuses on using maps from the Library of Congress’ digital archive.  Using primary documents in inquiry-based lessons will enable students to master selected benchmarks in the new Minnesota Graduation Requirements for Social Studies.
