Film critic and Macalester alumnus Colin Covert '74, continues his review of the greatest films you've never heard of with the 2011 Alumni Fall Film Series "Hidden Gems and Surprises, Part 3." In the second film of the series, Zazie dans le Métro, 12-year-old Zazie is left in the care her uncle, Gabriel, for two days in Paris while her mother spends time with her lover. The wild and adventurous Zazie escapes her uncle's care and decides to explore Paris on her own. Her adventure does not go exactly as planned and ends up leading Gabriel into trouble in Paris.
"Hidden Gems and Surprises, Part 3" will take place this fall. Each film begins at 7 p.m. in the John B. Davis Auditorium in the Ruth Stricker Dayton Campus Center.
