Antigone, adapted from Sophocles by Bertolt Brecht and translated by Judith Malina, will be performed on Feb. 17-19 at 7:30 p.m. and Feb. 19-20 at 2 p.m. in the Main Stage Theater, Janet Wallace Fine Arts Center. The drama of a fearless young woman who defies her uncle, the ruler Creon, was the perfect vehicle for Brecht to explore issues of power, exile, and the state's criminalizing of the designated other.directed by guest artist Randy Reyes.
