Join alumni for a reception followed by Macalester's production of Cabaret.  The reception begins at 6:30 p.m. and will include remarks from the show's director, Professor Harry Waters, Jr., at approximately 6:45 p.m.   Artisan cheese, fruit, desserts and coffee will be provided.  The performance begins at 7:30 p.m.

This story, adapted from Christopher Isherwood's book, invites us to look at the conditions in pre-Nazi Germany through the eyes of an American writer and a troubled show girl named Sally Bowles.  Directed by Harry Waters, Jr. Music and lyrics by John Kander and Fred Ebb. Performances are 7:30 p.m. November 5, 6, 11, 12 & 13.
