Spring Film Series, Part 2 of 6: Oscar Talk

7:00 PM  - 9:00 PM
Wednesday Mar 3, 2010
John B. Davis Lecture Hall, Ruth Stricker Dayton Campus Center

As part of the alumni Spring Film Series, Star Tribune film critic Colin Covert '74 reviews this year's Oscar candidates, examines our national obsession with the awards, and discusses key sequences from nominated films. There is no charge for admission to the Oscars Talk. Hidden Gems participants will see four films on campus, discuss the Oscars, and venture out to a local theater together to view a new release.  The Oscar Talk by itself is free, but space is limited. The remaining screenings of the film series are $5 each, excluding the fieldtrip to the uptown. Email Stephen Sporer for more information.
