The Macalester Concert Choir and the Mac Jazz Big Band collaborate in a joint concert with the internationally known and award-winning jazz pianist, composer and arranger, Geri Allen. Allen will conduct several master classes and rehearsals; culminating in a final performance with both the choir and jazz band. Standard jazz charts, music of Geri Allen, and an excerpt from Mary Lou Williams' Mary Lou's Mass will be performed. Seating is limited.
